TikTok x e-Enfance / 3018
Alongside other initiatives to tackle cyberbulling, TikTok France and e-Enfance /3018 needed to create an awareness campaign to sensitize the public to this important issue on social platforms, and partnered with The Source to produce a series of videos.
The CHALLENGE
TikTok wanted to tackle the serious problem of cyberbullying and show its willingness to protect its young users. To do so, they decided to integrate the #3018, the national hotline for digital violence victims, directly into its interface, to give its users a safer place to express their creativity. Alongside this initiative, TikTok wanted to promote it through videos on their platform to sensitize about digital violence.
WHAT we've DONE
The Source produced a series of videos (man-on-the-street interviews, roundtables, tutorials on how to report hate content), which were broadcast throughout the month of November on the TikTok app, to collect and relay the testimonies of the community, 3018 responders, as well as creators Edward Sad and Kim Lewin, both of whom have been victims of cyberbullying.
The goal: to report, prevent, and teach the TikTok community how to protect themselves from digital violence.
