The Source works all year long with Avène to produce several content for key launches. Avène launched a new line of product targeting acne and needed a knowledgeable creative partner to create its first Hashtag Challenge on TikTok.

The challenge

Avène’s objective was to present the Cleanance range from Avène in a fun and playful way by creating a hashtag challenge that spoke to the targeted Gen Z and used the codes of the platform. The hashtag challenge was broadcasted in France, Spain, Italy and Germany.

What we've done

The Source, a real TikTok one stop-shop, came up with the creative concept and the hashtags. We selected the influencers in each country and even produced an original soundtrack with custom lyrics quoting the brand and product in a lively, entertaining way. We also produce the hashtag promoting assets for each campaign placement, explaining the challenge to the viewers.

The results went beyond the anticipated figures of tikTok, yielding over 3 billion views in total.
